Biographical SketchPrima Rose Quaglia and Helen Marguerite Attridge both received an education in Boston and became educators. Quaglia graduated from the Teachers College of the City of Boston with a Bachelor of Education degree in 1932, and taught both Spanish and Science. Attridge graduated from Emmanuel College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 1935, and taught Latin as part of the faculty of Emmanuel College in 1938. Source: Item description from Buckingham Books Return to the Table of Contents Scope and Content NoteCollection consists of one photograph album and one scrapbook. The photograph album documents Quaglia and Attridge's vacation throughout Mexico, with stops in San Antonio and New Orleans on their return to Boston. The album consists of predominatly 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" black and white photographs. Each photograph has a written description. The scrapbook contains 36 pages of mementos from the trip, including travel and lodging reciepts, exchange tables, event tickets and programs, telegraphs, menus, personal cards, and newspaper articles.
