The manuscripts were created by various influential men, including López de Santa-Anna, Vice-President Valentin Gomez Farias, and Mexican generals Vicente Filisola, Adrian Woll, Joaquin Ramirez y Sesma, and Jose Urrea.

Contains eight manuscripts and two newspapers relating to the Alamo, the Texas Revolution, López de Santa-Anna, and Mexican generals Vicente Filisola and Adrian Woll. Dating from 1835 through 1849, the manuscripts include correspondence, military orders, and a decree that gives insight into the Mexican Army during the Texas Revolution. The two newspapers are 1836 issues from the San Luis Potosi government newspaper, La Opinion.
