Historical NoteRancho Diana is a 1300-acre natural area owned by the City of San Antonio. The land was acquired through the 2005 (Prop. 1) voter-approved Edwards Aquifer Protection program and is part of the Edwards Aquifer Recharge Zone. It is currently not open to the public, but the city plans are to expand and appropriately develop the Friedrich/Crownridge/Cedar Creek/Rancho Diana contiguous park properties into a natural area destination. Proposed capital improvement projects include the design and construction of a Natural Areas Visitors Center, rehabilitation to the existing structures, parking, access, interpretive features, trails, trailhead features, and other amenities following a master plan for the historic park.
