The College of Business was one of
the first five colleges established at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Its first
dean was E. D. Hodo, with subsequent deans including James F. Gaertner, Bruce Bublitz, Lynda
Y. de la Viña, and Wm. Gerard (Gerry) Sanders. The College of Business has overseen a number
of research institutes, including the Institute for Studies in Business (ISB), the Center
for Studies in Business, Economics, and Human Resources, the Human Resources and Development
Program, Center for Global Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Innovation and Technology
Entrepreneurship (CITE). |

Content Abstract: |
This collection contains three
accessions: 2002-003, 2010-013, and 2015-008. The 2002-003 accession contains reports
created by various research institutes of the College of Business, including the Institute
for Studies in Business (ISB), the Center for Studies in Business, Economics, and Human
Resources, and the Human Resources and Development Program. The reports primarily concern
the social sciences, including research reports on commerce, labor, industry, economic
history and conditions, and finance. Other topics include American and Texas history,
technology, psychology, and special aspects of education. The 2010-013 accession consists of
annual reports and the 2015-008 accession contains materials related to the college’s study
abroad programs in the 1990s. |

Established in 1973, the College of Business was one of the first five colleges established
at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Its first dean was E. D. Hodo, with subsequent
deans including James F. Gaertner, Bruce Bublitz, Lynda Y. de la Viña, and Wm. Gerard
(Gerry) Sanders.
The College of Business has overseen a number of research institutes, including the
Institute for Studies in Business (ISB), the Center for Studies in Business, Economics, and
Human Resources, the Human Resources and Development Program, Center for Global
Entrepreneurship, and the Center for Innovation and Technology Entrepreneurship (CITE).

The 2010-013 accession consists of annual reports and sample letterhead from the
college.
The 2015-008 accession contains materials related to the college’s study abroad programs in
London and Mexico in the 1990s.
