Field Notes: The Annual LLILAS Benson Student Photography Exhibition, 2010-2017
Started in 2010, Field Notes highlights the importance of University of Texas at Austin student research, work, and volunteerism across the spectrum of fields in Latin American and Latinx/Mexican American studies. Images do not necessarily come from Latin America, as long as the theme is related to the broader Latin America/Latinx subject areas (for example, a student could be doing research in the Netherlands on the history of Suriname, researching identity in south Texas, or spending the summer buried in the Benson archives).
The Field Notes: The Annual LLILAS Benson Student Photography Exhibition collection consists of approximately 0.5 linear feet and is arranged chronologically. Most photographs include short biographies of the student photographers which provide a brief description of their academic work and the context, title, and location of the submitted photograph.
Standard copyright restrictions apply.
