Laura Rendon Papers, circa 1990s-2000s
Laura Rendon is a nationally recognized scholar and researcher in higher education issues concerning access, retention and graduation of low-income, first-generation college students and the transformation of teaching and learning to emphasize wholeness and social justice. She is a professor of educational leadership and policy studies at the University of Texas-San Antonio. She is also co-director of the University of Texas-San Antonio Center for Research and Policy in Education in the College of Education and Human Development.
This is a preliminary inventory only, and additions are ongoing. The collection is currently unprocessed, but is available to researchers in the Benson Collection Rare Books and Manuscripts Reading Room.
