Biographical Note

Chicana artist Marta Sanchez was born in San Antonio, Texas. She earned an MFA in Painting from the Tyler School of Art, Temple University, and a BFA in Painting from the University of Texas at Austin. She teaches at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Tyler School of Art, and the Springside School.
