Biographical Note

Robert Bonazzi (1942-2020) was a poet, editor, critic, and founder of Latitudes Press. He was executor of the John Howard Griffin (1920-1980) literary estate, and a biographer of Griffin. His books include Reluctant Activist: The Spiritual Life and Art of John Howard Griffin (TCU Press, 2018); Maestro of Solitude: Poems & Poetics, a finalist for the Texas Institute of Letters Poetry Award, and The Scribbling Cure: Poems & Prose Poems. Bonazzi edited at least 10 other editions of Griffin's work, as well as representing other authors published by Latitudes Press.
