Biographical Note

Born in Vermont on June 15, 1927, Preston Lee is a professional skater whose career spanned six decades. Skating with The Center Theatre Ice Show in New York City in 1945 while still a teenager, Lee spent a number of years touring with ice shows, including Holiday on Ice, the Hollywood Ice Revue and others. In the 1960s Lee moved to Germany and joined the ice show at a nightclub called Casa Carioca. Lee also worked internationally as a teacher and coach, as well as serving as a judge for skating competitions throughout Europe.
