Historical Note

The Texas Memorial Museum was established in the early 1930s during preparations for the 1936 Texas Centennial Celebrations. It was at first a state museum but was transferred to be part of the University of Texas at Austin.

Scope and Contents

Records contain a multitude of formats and pertain to a variety of facets of Texas history.
