A Guide to the UT Measurement and Evaluation Center Records, 1964-1999
The Measurement and Evaluation Center (MEC), today known as the Center for Teaching and Learning, coordinates University testing programs, including examinations for course credit and placement. It also serves as a test center for many examinations offered on a worldwide basis. In addition to the testing programs, the MEC evaluates the effectiveness of UT in achieving the goals of its educational program through different studies, as well as assists faculty members with the construction, processing, and analysis of tests or other measuring instruments.
