Biographical NoteThe son of prominent businessman and politician Joseph Kennedy and brother to John and Ted Kennedy, Robert F. Kennedy (1926-1968) served as Attorney General under his brother and as Senator from New York. In 1968, he ran for the Democratic presidential nomination.
