Creator Sketch

Edward Seccomb Wallace is the author of several books including The Great Reconnaissance and with Major General John K. Herr, The Story of the U.S. Cavalry. Mr. Wallace resided in Connecticut.

Scope and Content Note

Correspondence, legal documents, printed materials and a circa 1961 negative comprise this collection of Texana (1823-1846) accumulated by Edward S. Wallace. All documents are written in Spanish.
