Guide to the Rice University Religious Activities Committee records, 1961-1988 UA 169
The Committee on Religious Activities was formed in 1961 under the name of Faculty Religious Committee. This committee was responsible for all religious activities connected with the university. It also organized the student Chapel committee, which was responsible for arranging and conducting the chapel programs.
Rice University Religious Activities Committee records contain correspondence and memoranda related to the committee's charge to coordinate all activities of a religious nature on Rice's campus and regulating use of Rice chapel.
