Biographical Note

Ruth Whitehead Chorlian was born in central West Texas and grew up in Brownwood. A historian and author, she received her bachelor's degree from Howard Payne College. Chorlian lived in Austin and is known for her titles such as The Long Trail of the Texas Longhorns and The Mi'qmaq.
