Dean Takahashi is the lead writer for GamesBeat at VentureBeat. He has been a tech journalist for more than 25 years, and has been a videogame journalist for the past 18 years. In the past 25 years Takahashi has written for The Los Angeles Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Dallas Morning Herald. Takahashi is also the author of two books Opening the Xbox and The Xbox 360 Uncloaked. Takahashi organized the annual GamesBeat and GamesBeat Summit conferences.
