A Guide to the Ann Marshall Cole Papers, 1920-1924
Ann Marshall Cole (née Marshall) began her studies at the University of Texas at Austin (UT) in 1920 and graduated in 1924. As a student, Cole was an active member in many clubs and societies including: Kappa Delta Pi, Alpha Phi Epsilon, the Young Women’s Christian Association (YWCA), Sunday Club, Cap and Gown, Woman's Athletic Association Council, Sidney Lanier Literary Society, Orchesus, Girls' Glee Club, and the Orange Jackets as a charter member.

Three scrapbooks compiled by Cole during her time as a student at UT from 1920-1924. The first scrapbook is from 1920-1922, the second scrapbook is from 1922-1923, and the third scrapbook is from 1923-1924. The collection is the documentation of Cole’s participation in UT’s societies and clubs, and in particular her participation in the student organizations Orchesus, Glee Club, YWCA, and the Orange Jackets, as well as her participation in campus events such as football games and dances. The documentation includes newspaper clippings, invitations, notes, and programs.
