A Guide to the Andrew Gullett Papers, 1850-1936
Biographical NoteAndrew Gullett (d. 1893) was a physician and Assistant Surgeon in Colonel Colton Greene's 3rd Missouri Cavalry in the Confederate States Army. Formed in 1862, the cavalry unit ultimately disbanded in Shreveport, Louisiana, in the spring of 1865. After the Civil War, Gullett settled in McKinney, Texas, where he served as a well-known physician and member of the county Democratic committee. Sources: Johnson, Morris D. "Capt.
