Biographical NoteJulian Onderdonk (1882-1922) was a San Antonio artist best known for his Impressionist-style paintings of bluebonnets and other Texas themes. Return to the Table of Contents Scope and ContentsCollection consists of one Christmas card illustrated with a half-tone lithographic color reproduction of Julian Onderdonk’s painting “Christmas at the Alamo” and one black and white lantern slide of the same painting. The slide is from the University of Texas Visual Instruction Bureau series. The Christmas card was received by the donor in 1963; the slide is undated.
