Biographical Sketch

Born in Waxahachie, Texas, Betty Anderson was awarded a B.A. by North Texas State University (1954) and an M.A. by Texas Tech University (1973). Anderson has held office in numerous state and local organizations, including the League of Women Voters of Lubbock, League of Women Voters of Texas, and American Association of University Women, and continues her activities in supporting and promoting the social, health, and welfare concerns of women, children, the elderly, and disabled.
