Biographical Sketch

Ann Hudspeth is a native Austinite who was born in 1969 and grew up near Mt. Bonnell. She attended St. Andrew's Episcopal School, Lamar Junior High, and McCallum High School, where she excelled at music and art. She majored in Anthropology at Vassar College and then went to Seattle, Washington in 1992 to seek her fortune as a musician. Four years later, she found the tech world was a much better way to make a living as a creative, and in 2012 she returned to Austin, Texas where she currently resides. Ann has been an active member of the LGBTQ+ and progressive political communities for most of her life, and she has felt consistently compelled to document the things most important to her.
