An Inventory of the Collection
Mark Pedini is a poster artist that creates most of his posters for various bands and venues in Austin, Texas. He has been designing posters in Austin since 2002, and focuses mainly on screen printing. Pedini utilizes bold images and graphic art for his posters.
The collection contains approximately ten posters advertising music shows at various music venues. Austin clubs such as Stubb’s BBQ and Emo’s are represented. The collection also contains several posters for national venues. Bands and musicians Bad Religion, Magnolia Electric Company, Gogol Bordello, Black Ice, Switch Hitter, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, The Slip, Rogue Wave, Lightning Bolt, The Good Life, Rilo Kiley, Mayday, Bright Eyes, The Pholyphonic Spree, Cursive, and Appleseed Cast are represented. In addition to music posters there is one poster for the TXRD Lonestar Rollergirls at the “Thunderdome” at Austin Convention Center.
