Gracywoods Neighborhood Association Records
An Inventory of the Collection
The Gracywoods Neighborhood Association (formerly known as the North Gracywoods Neighborhood Association or North Gracy Woods Neighborhood Association) was formed in 1986 to function as a charitable organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in North Austin communities and neighborhoods in such matters as land use, environmental protection, public services, safety, consumer protection, and other matters of concern to the neighborhood and the north Austin area. All property owners and all households within the boundaries of Austin Park to Metric and Walnut Creek (in Walnut Creek Park) to Breaker are welcome to join.
The collection consists of documents related to the organization dating from 1996-2001. Included are meeting agendas and minutes, newsletters, information about neighborhood traffic calming program and a 2000-2002 Neighborhood Guide and Directory.
Open to all users
The Austin History Center (AHC) is the owner of the physical materials in the AHC collections and makes available reproductions for research, publication, and other uses. Written permission must be obtained from the AHC before any publication use. The AHC does not necessarily hold copyright to all of the materials in the collections. In some cases, permission for use may require seeking additional authorization from the copyright owners. Consult repository for more details.
