An Inventory to the Collection
The Northwest Business Women's Association is a networking organization founded in 1986 by a group of professional women from a variety of fields in order to support the advancement of women in business in Austin, Texas.
The records are arranged into two series: organizational records and scrapbooks. Series one, organizational records, is in chronological order and consists of bylaws, newsletters, newspaper clippings, minutes and membership directories (1986-1996). This series also contains a green binder of minutes and newsletters (1995-1999). Series two consists of three scrapbooks (1989-1991), one volume for each year. Scrapbooks contain meeting notes, information on special events, member lists, minutes, other printed material, and photographs.

The Austin History Center (AHC) is the owner of the physical materials in the AHC collections and makes available reproductions for research, publication, and other uses. Written permission must be obtained from the AHC before any publication use. The AHC does not necessarily hold copyright to all of the materials in the collections.
